Cars, charities and basketball. Can you think of a better combination? We sure can't. Especially because the "cars" are new Infiniti models, the "charities" are some of the most deserving across the nation and the "basketball" is the NCAA. All three stellar institutions combine in the "Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge" going on right now.
As part of the luxury automaker's ongoing partnership with the National Association of Basketball Coaches, ESPN and the NCAA, Infiniti has launched its competition to determine the best coaches in college basketball. Through eight weeks of games, fans can log onto www.ESPN.com/Infiniti to vote for their favorite coach. In the end, Infiniti will select a winner and give the coach a sum of over $300,000 to his or her charity of choice.
Ben Poore, President of Infiniti Americas, notes, "The Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge is a way to add a greater level of support to our ongoing partnerships with the NABC and NCAA...It allows us to bring awareness to the outstanding community efforts of these respected coaches, and hopefully inspire fans to learn and give more to each charity on their own."1
Inspiring fans seems to be exactly what Infiniti is best at. After all, the automaker inspires drivers in the Tucson area with innovative models like the Infiniti M37 every day.
