Ballet Tucson announces its 2011-2012 season following last year's critically acclaimed 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee.  Throughout the coming "Season of Transformation", Founding Artistic Director Mary Beth Cabana has selected works that represent the ever evolving nature of life and the arts.  From the phoenix rising out of the ashes in Firebird to the rags-to-riches tale of Cinderella, the common theme of transformation speaks to the constant change that is life.  Highlights of the new season include the premieres of Ascending and Don Quixote Suite, works by legendary choreographer Antony Tudor, the revivals of Firebird and Masquerade, and full-length production of Cinderella.
