Infiniti Garners $55,000 for Charity Via G37 Variant

Infiniti of Tucson can't think of anything more dramatically artistic and out-of-the-ordinary than Cirque du Soleil. If you aren't already familiar with it, Cirque du Soleil is an entertainment entourage that features a mix of circus-like art blended together with imaginative street entertainment. Basically, each show is unlike anything you've seen before. We could also place that crown on the Infiniti G37 Art Car, an artistically painted model that required over 300-hours of meticulous labor.

The creation of the model, however, is not the point. In fact, the G37 was unveiled almost three years ago now as a commemoration of both Infiniti and Cirque Du Soleil. The real news is that an anonymous consumer recently bought the model for $55,000 and all proceeds will go towards the charity ONE DROP. Founded by Cirque Du Soleil mastermind Guy Laliberte, the international non-profit works to supply populations in need with safe, clean water.

Wendy Durward, Director of Infiniti Canada, adds "We are proud that the car, this work of art, which is so meaningful to us in marking an important milestone in our history, now has further meaning in that it will help support an incredible cause."1

Infiniti of Tucson admits, normally vehicles aren't labeled as "works of art." But for the G37 Art Car and many other new Infiniti models, the title isn't too much of a stretch. To truly get a sense of what we mean, we encourage you to swing by our 625 Auto Mall Dr. Tucson, AZ 85705 location and test drive any model you see!
